I took my kids out on Halloween so that we could go with Amanda and Steve to Fort Worth to see the stockyards and go to the US Bureau of Treasury and Engraving (where they make paper money). We had a great time and the weather was beautiful (80 degrees!). At the stockyards, ther

We had such a fun trip with ya'll. I am glad that you all got out of school to hang out with us and go to cowboy town and watch the money machines... thanks for letting us be a part of an awesome Halloween vacation. We loved seeing where you live and chill-in with ya'll for a while. Long live Fuzzies. Steve was hoping we'd have time to stop there on the way home. Oh well. We'll save it for out "springtime texas trip"---as Lily would say.
Amanda, it was a downer to wake up today and not have you guys here. The kids came home from school yesterday and were really sad that you were gone. Thank you for coming and spending time with us. We had a GREAT time! Y'all come back now, y'hear?

I am so jealous that Amanda and Steve were able to go to Texas. It sounds like you guys had a lot of fun. These pictures are all so great!
