Charlie loved Camp Carnival. She is wearing a shirt she decorated.
We are on a ferry waiting to get back to our ship. I love this picture of Sydney laughing so hard.
Spencer enjoyed pirate night at Camp Carnival.
We absolutely loved our snorkel trip in Cozumel. Just four of us were on a boat by ourselves with our guide and 2 other crew members. They made us homemade guacamole for us to eat on our way back. Yummy!
On our boat to go snorkeling. We made three different stops and saw some beautiful fish.
Waiting to board the ship
Charlotte did really well at dinner time. By the end, when the bread man came around, she would hold up her plate and say "Roll Please."
At dinner
The boys and I sat on the same side the entire week.
On the top of the ship they had sky bridges where you would be tethered and would walk across different bridges. Very fun!
Coming into our rooms every night with different animal towels and chocolate was always a treat.
Charlotte and Sydney on the deck of the ship.
First stop: Jamaica!
This beautiful remote place in the jungle is called Blue Hole. It was in the top of the mountains. The water was very cool, bright and beautiful. It had a rope swing, cliffs for jumping (we only jumped off the small one), and waterfalls to climb up.
This is a picture of Blue Hole. Before this stop, we went tubing down a river that is fed from this water. We hooked together and went down some small rapids. It was so great. Our Jamaican guide kept singing, "Don't worry about a thing, cause every little thing is gonna be alright." It was funny.
Our driver on the left and our guide on the right.
At the first of two formal dinners. We had lobster and Filet Mignon. Yum!
Third stop: Cozumel.
Our ship off the port at Cozumel.
We LOVED our waiter. We also liked the magician who came to our table. He taught the kids a cool trick.
Nate was great at the sky bridge. He got to where he never had to hold on to anything.
Second Stop: Grand Cayman. Here we did an excursion where we swam with the Sting Rays (don't worry...they were tame). Nate is petting one in this picture and if you look carefully, you can see the shadow of two behind him. They were so large. It was a lot of fun to see them swim right by you.
Spencer was sick by the time we got back to the boat. This picture tells it all. It was a mixture of sun, sea sick, exhaustion, and dehydration. He voted to not go with us snorkeling the next day. Poor kid!
2nd formal night. We were wearing the exact same thing....ha! ha! Good thing we didn't spill on ourselves the first night.
Cozumel
We told the kids we would buy them one souvenir. The boys chose Nacho Libre masks. Then they wrestled in the staterooms.
