Thanksgiving

We had a GREAT dinner with AWESOME people! Ang & Jed graced our presence and David & Jana Coreless joined us as well.

While we were playing games, we noticed it got really quiet. Little Mary was helping herself to some vegetables, but mostly dip :). She needed some white gloves to go with her princess dress. Mom, look at the dress she is wearing. It is the dress you made Sydney for Amanda's wedding that is now in our costume box. It is always a hit with the little girls.

The kids were patiently waiting for their Thanksgiving dinner. We had 11 kids there that day.

Matt and Charlotte chilling after dinner. Looks like Matt is searching for some great Black Friday specials. He and Jed stayed out all night shopping. They even slept in sleeping bags at Sports Authority. I heard Matt had a mighty snore. They got some great deals at Wal Mart and Sports Authority.

All of the kids the night before Jed and Ang left. Tears were shed that they were leaving :(.

One of many games of Beans that were played. We also played the name game and charades with the kids.

Notice the sly smile on Jed's face. He must be working one of his many deals in Beans.

While we were playing in one room, the kids set up their own game in the next.

We really had a great time! It flew by way too fast. Ang & I were able to make a quick stop at Sam Moon and catch Breaking Dawn (which we really liked by the way, but we really were missing Amanda's cat calls). Matt and Jed were able to play some rounds at Top Golf and literally shopped till they dropped during the wee hours Friday morning. We took the kids to a couple of parks and they just played, played, played!! We really put in the good word for Dallas hoping that one day they really will move here. I told Angela though that if she moved close to us that we would get nothing accomplished :).

I hope you all had a very Happy Thanksgiving. We sure missed you all and extend an open invitation to any and all who would like a Texas getaway.

"fall"ing fun. :)

This is usually how I roll lately with posting. It might be a little long...because I have some catching up to do (just a month or two I think). This post doesn't even include our sweet pics of Texas and Halloween. I haven't uploaded those photos yet...just wait family....you are in for such a treat. We had a great great time at Matt and Lisa's and Henry thought the plane ride was "awesome".

This summer I planted like 12-13ish tomato plants in our front yard. We had planted some in Bountiful and I didn't get much off the plants, so I thought I would plant enough here in Provo to do a couple batches of salsa. Over 50 quarts later of tomato soup/juice etc etc etc...I am harvesting the fruits of my labors with the major major major help of Mom. Thanks Mom for doing half (or more) of all the work and welcoming me into your home or coming to Provo to teach me how to do "stuff" I want to learn how to do. This is Lily on the first day of preschool in front of the infamous bushes. She didn't love the first day of preschool...and didn't want me to take this picture.
This is what our tomato days looked like in the end. I felt like sleeping like this. Mom still has a smile on her face and is asking when the next batch will be ready. What a trooper. I still have 6 bags full of tomatoes in my garage. Yikes.
We went to Trafalga this fall and Henry was pretty scared when he got on this boat ride with Steve (like a mini rocking pirate ship from Lagoon). I love this picture. We did not make him go on this ride. He asked to go. But.... wasn't interested in a second ride.
This picture makes Steve and I laugh. He liked this ride with Lillian and really got that lady good. She did not want to be wet:) Poor lady.
Linds came down with Mom and we drove up to Vivian park. It was a lot of fun. The wasps were on the prowl this day and Lillian ate her corn dog walking around in hopes that they wouldn't land on her if she was moving.

Adelaide's baby blessing. Thanks for coming everybody. It was a special day for us and the blessing was beautiful. Provo seems far away on an early Sunday morning. Thanks for making the drive and supporting the Welsh's. We sure missed all the family from out of state.

The infamous backyard frog that got passed around a little too much. Poor frog.

It was my idea to cram on the stairs. Next time we'll try something different...
Dang we look good.
She is such a sweet baby. We love her bunches.

Residency horse back riding and 4 wheeling. This was a perfect beautiful fall night in Utah County. They had just had cows in this pasture so if we were letting loose (which OF COURSE we were) on the 4 wheelers we were sure getting fertilized. This is just a mile and a half from where we live. It was a fun night. Henry sure loved it and went in character.

Steve reading the kids a bedtime story after work. He is a good dad.

A trip from Mom and Dad!

Although I did not get any pictures of Mom and Dad with my kids, I do feel good about one pretty classic iphone picture.

Jed and I took a trip to Aruba for our tenth anniversary this month. We had a great time! These are about the only pics we took all week. We were so grateful to Mom and Dad for spending their week with our kids. They were VERY good sports!

They did an EXCELLENT job because I have been hearing, "Do you know what I really liked about when Grandma and Opa were here..." for weeks.

Mom helped me sew Halloween Costumes (even when I didn't have a pattern in the case of the Mad Hatter jacket). Then she even finished by hand when she couldn't figure out how to change the bobbin thread on my odd machine. She is amazing! Here are our costumes. The first one is before our Trunk or Treat and the second before the neighborhood parade.

Grandma and Opa we love you so much, thank you for your visit. Any one else want to come for a visit? (I won't make you sew!) Anyone? Anyone?

Day 2 of disneyland

I made these cute outfits for the girls, with lots and lots of help from mom! we gave the girls these outfits to tell them we were going to disneyland in the morning!
Emma loves everything sparkley and Grace is in love with minnie mouse so they both were happy little girlies!

We had special passes that got us into the park an hour before it opened to the public so we had heard that the dumbo ride gets a long line really fast so we booked it to dumbo and their was no line! It was great, this by far was the girls favorite ride.

Emma had to have the pink dumbo and was so excited when she got that one!

The carousel is right next to dumbo so we went to that one next and walked right on, it was so great to get in early, we also went on the peter pan ride during that hour, we only waited about 15 minutes for that one.

we even got pop to ride the carousel, Logan and Chase however were way to cool to ride a horse!!! :)

I think Emma was still in shock that we were actually in disneyland!

Grace was just eating everything up!

Next came the teacups, I was 6 weeks pregnant and didnt want to start my day off getting nauseauted from this ride so my mom and chase took the girls, they also loved this ride!

Hanging out waiting for the Tiki Room

Emma got to meet a ton of the characters!

I am so sad that Grace slept through snow white cause she is obsessed with her! But I was in no way going to wake her up and have her be onry the rest of the day!

Chip or Dale???? Can you tell???

Grace did ALOT of this!

Sometimes I wish we had one of these in our house, hahahaha!!!

ToonTown was Alot of fun!

Gracie waiting in line to meet minnie mouse, this was probably the longest and worse line that we had to stand in, but Grace loves minnie mouse so was really patient.

Love this pic

Grace was sooooooo happy to finally get to meet minnie!!

After you meet minnie you get to go on a tour of her house, it was darling, this is emma laying on minnies bed

having a tea party

Both girls picked out these baby dumbos for their prize

Waiting for the parade to start

The parade was so much fun, the girls were mesmerized the entire time!

Then Emma had her turn to crash, we went to Downtown disney for dinner and emma slept through almost the entire dinner.

It got pretty chilly at night so we all went and got disney hoodies

The famous pictures in front of the mickey head

By the end of the day Grace was wiped out, she slept through the fireworks! Logan loved that she fell asleep on him

K this seriously is the cutest picture ever! Its just hard to know it if you werent there, but Prest had emma on his shoulders during the fireworks, and during part of the show dumbo flies out over the castle, it is really cool, so emma grabbed her baby dumbo and held it up in the air so it could see the big dumbo flying over her. It was really cute!
