Lindsay joined us at Nathan's school where he was student of the week in his class.

Lindsay is introducing Amelia to cotton candy...her face says it all.

At our field trip to The Sixth Floor Museum where JFK was shot.

Pinewood Derby

This is Nathan and Matt putting graphite on the car before the race.

This is the car! Nathan's award was for "Best use of Decals".

This is after the Derby race. It was quite a fierce competition.

My computer is working slow so I will post more pics from Lindsay's visit when I have more time. Ta Ta for now!

Once in a Blue Moon

So it has been awhile since I have posted anything on the blog. You hear from me once in a blue moon. I didn't completely realize this until Sunday Night when Kara was over at the house and she wanted to see pictures of the family. We looked at the calender that Amanda had given Mom for Christmas, and then I brought her to the computer to see some up to date stuff. We chatted a little about the blog and she asked how long it had been since I had posted. I figured, oh a while, maybe August. Nope. July. Nope. June. Still Cold. I really was disappointed, I hadn't posted since March, almost a year ago. I figured if I was going to give Amanda a hard time about not posting on the blog, or her blog, I should probably live by my word. So here I am, where I seem to always be now a days, at school. Life is pretty normal for the unmarried brother, dating continues, school drags on, work (scarce as it is this semester) keeps me busy. I think this will just be a short post until I can get some pictures or something. Anyways, this semester I am in Anatomy, my first real touch of medical school, and I am in a cadaver lab, so I get to hang around all the dead bodies and smell of formaldehyde. So far I am loving it, but it is really challenging, and trying to devote enough time to that and studying for my other classes proves difficult. I have two labs this semester with my classes, plus I got accepted into a research project at the university isolating DNA from samples and looking for mutations in genes and what not. It is fun for the time being, but very monotonous, I think i will try and switch majors and research in a year or so. Research as a freshman is very rare, and people who I tell I am doing it find it hard to believe I was accepted into the program with on prior experience. There are blessings for you. I spend just about every day from 73o Am until about 4 or 5 PM on campus doing something or other, then usually take the bus home and don't arrive until 6. Other than that, working still on the weekends, and in any spare time I can find I am dating Karalyn Lee from Provo. I provided the full name for all you facebook stalkers, and I will try and get pictures up. I am pretty sure I have let most of you know everything there is to know about her, but any questions please ask, I will try and get them posted in my up-and-coming picture post. Love you all.

(PS, this is a cool picture of the temple a photographer took at one of my friends weddings. It is an incredible picture, with the sun perfectly placed, and the crazier thing is that NO ONE is in the picture when it was taken. The photographer claims he didn't have to shop this at all)

Emma takes riding lesson!

My mom surprised emma with riding lessons, if you know Emma you know she has a love for horses! She is not afraid of them at all, she respects them and knows her limits but has no fear, she was SO excited to find out she was going to go and take lessons, tammy is the greatest and was so patient with her. Here is a video of emma's first time, I know im the mom but I thought it was pretty incredible what she could make the horse do. And she was truly doing it all my herself!!! Then end of the video is my favorite, she learned how to make the horse go left and right! I am one proud momma

New Beds and tangled

After lots of looking we finally found the bunk beds that we wanted and they were even on sale!!! We had too wait about a week until they went on sale and emma just about lost it having to wait!!! Here are some pics of the girls new room, I think it turned out pretty cute (if I do say so myself) haha! I do love them and it gives the girls so much more room to play! And even more room for a crib!!!!! haha amanda that is not an announcement!!!! :)

We finally got to see Tangled a couple of weeks ago and had the pleasure of taking miss lily with us. Lets just say if you want a good time at the movies take Lily with you. She was a hoot, she totally got into the show and was galloping with the horse and telling emma everything that was going on (lily had seen it before) and in not such a quiet voice. Oh man it was great fun. These girlies truly love each other!!!

Ringing in the New Year & Spencer's first Stetson

We rang in the New Year with games, movies, and food. It wasn't the same without all of you though. I think we were the only ones banging pans on our entire street

This is a picture of Spencer pretending to swing a lasso.

Spencer has worn his cowboy outfit almost every day since Christmas. He wore it to school yesterday and I made him take off his spurs. Then when I went to pick him up, he ran up to me excited and said it was western day next week and so he could wear his spurs. I laughed and told Matt how excited he was. So Matt stopped off at the Stetson warehouse next to his work to get Spencer a hat to complete his outfit. Needless to say, he has been wearing it non stop. Now he wants a cowboy belt.....
