Darn those bee's!!!
EMma was playing out in my parents backyard and all the sudden started screaming and within a few minutes she looked like this..........so off to the instacare we went just to make sure she was okay, she got stung on her lip and her arm, I will have to say, the second we walked in to instacare and sad she had been stung on her face and she was swelling, the girl dropped everything and ran and got the doctors and took us right back. She ended being fine, they had us stay for about 45 minutes to watch her, lucky for us they gave the girls popsicles and lots of toys to play with.
It is so funny cause I have always warned her that Bee's will sting you so to stay away from them so when I asked her later how she was feeling she says, yes, but I don't know why those darn bees would bite me! Too cute! I love that girl!

Nathan's end of year baseball party. He received "Most Spirited Award" for having a positive attitude. He had a great experience with baseball and hope to keep him with the same boys and coach for as long as we can.
Sydney's dance recital costume. She did a hip hop dance and was great. We were very proud of her.
Spencer's 5th birthday was sort of a flop (notice the cake as example A). It was the same day as Sydney's dance rehearsal and recital. Not only did he wake up wondering "when the kids were coming over for his party", we had only a 2 hour window where we could even take him out to dinner. He only wanted to go to McDonalds with a playland. A dime a dozen, right? However, we were trying to find one on the way to Sydney's recital and convenient to meet Matt. Needless to say, we ended up at Fuddrucker's. As my mom was picking up the cake to move it to a different table, the whole thing slid off onto the bench. This was after an attempt to fix it. The Fuddrucker baker said "I am a baker, but don't think I can fix this." Sweet Nathan said "I bet it still tastes good." He was right.
Father's Day was nice. The kids always love going to the dollar store to pick out stuff for Matt. This year I realized that we may have graduated from the dollar store. Sydney kept picking red/white/blue fake flowers, Nate picked a battery operated fan because "dad gets hot working in the attic", and Spencer would find any toy that he wanted and said he would give that to dad (notice the googly eye glasses Matt is wearing in the next picture). Sydney made an awesome poster for him. Each symbol you see had a cute saying that she wrote about Matt. It was very sweet.
yellow trophy: "#1 DAD! The candy inside represents your sweetness"
green with money inside: "The money represents every wish you gave me"
orange star: "The star represents how you shined and showed me what to do"
blue smiley face: "The happy face reminds me of all the laughs you gave me"
red ribbon: "The ribbon reminds me what you earned for being a great dad"
Of course there were some back massage coupons included.
We sure do love our dad!

Baby Pics
So, when Amelia was two weeks old we took her for baby pictures. I probably would not have thought to do it, but a girl in our ward is a photographer and gave the photo shoot to us for a shower giift. It was a crazy, very long photo/feeding session and I was unsure how it would turn out...but I was pleasantly surprised. Look for yourselves!

Happy Summer!
Hey so we have so much to share. Graduation...moving (our new home has the sweetest views-every night is like a scene from a movie)...money...loans...vacation to Victoria... a new baby (might as well throw it in there-it seems to fit...although Lindsey I'll save you a phone call and tell you now it is not true! You still have time:)....ha-ha-ha...have we had a lot of major life changes? I can't find my camera...whether it is packed or lost (please no! Steve's graduation is still on it)...I don't know where it is. So to let ya'll know that we are thinking of you and are anxious to post and be a part of the family I have changed the template on this blog. Summer Wheat. Quite delightful and bright. It is a present from me to you until my camera is found and I can document the events in my life via photograph.
PS. I just need to say it one more time...Steve Graduated! Maybe one more...Steve Graduated!...nope it's gonna take a third go...STEVE GRADUATED!!!!!! I am so happy and proud of Him and personally feel the world will be a healthier (and happier) place now that he is a Doctor. LA.

Going on Three Weeks
I know, a lot of posts, but we are having so much fun! We are close to week three and this week we were lucky to have Grandma Dibb visit for a few days and do some bonding. We also had our first outing to the swimming pool...we did not swim, and we attended three Memorial Day parties and a Greek party! She is such a socialite. Do not be fooled though, Amelia and I spend about 16 hours a day on the living room couch.

Grandmas visit
Sunday nap, like father like daughter. This is staged though. Amelia sleeps in her own bed!

Napping with Grandma
Ready for her photo shoot

Amelia with her good friend Henry at the pool. He is only two days o;der than her.

Proud Mom
Well, Amelia is almost 2 weeks old and Grandma Hill is gone and Dad is back at work, so we are officially just hanging out. I am learning to plan things around nap and eating time. I am going to venture our first trip to the store today. Well, second because the first attempt was last Friday and I realized two blocks from home that I had forgotten three items I needed and by the time I got back home I knew my window for shopping was gone! So, today will be the second attempt, but hopefully much more successful. Here are a few pictures from last week, she is changing all the time and I think she may end up with blond hair...He-Man Dibb genes.

melt my heart
We got to have Lily stay at our house one day while steve and amanda were fixing up their new house. What can I say, these girlies love to be with each other.
They were both hiding under the covers in Emmas bed trying to hide from the big bad monster (preston) I have to tell you a conversation that these two munchkins had. Emma says "hey Lily, do you know what time it is?" Lily says "um, I don't know......maybe 5:00 o'clock Emma says "oh okay" Ok it doesn't sound as funny but it was pretty comical to listen to them try and figure out what time it was. Lily also got to go with emma to tumbling so here are some videos of the things they did that day.
